Here’s a news flash—the College of Wooster isn’t perfect; you can’t please everybody. However, in asking students how they honestly felt about Wooster, even if there are things that they can’t stand about the school—things that drive them up the wall, frankly—Wooster students are very glad they chose to come to this college above any other. They say that it’s something about the atmosphere, something about the personal touches you see all over campus, and something about the friendships you make here that does it for them. They know that they are receiving a great education that will last them far into their future careers, forming friendships that may last longer than even their marriages, gaining a wonderful background for becoming a richer person, and living life to its fullest.
When a college cares about you the person, not just you the student, or you the number, that is when it becomes more than just a college—it becomes a place you can call home. Wooster has shown that to their students even after graduation, even for decades to come. This is the reason why Wooster students wouldn’t trade their years there for anything.

"Overall, Wooster, like any other college, is what you make out of it. I have found warm, friendly people around every corner, professors who are accommodating and approachable, and facilities that are clean and, for the most part, pretty adequate."

"The reason I came to Wooster was because of my first visit, I felt comfortable—like I belonged. Now, reflecting on my years spent here, I have been able to grow, get involved, and truly feel like I have made a difference on campus and in the community. Because of Wooster, I have priceless memories to always look back on. These reasons are why I first came here, and that’s why I’m leaving here happy."

"I love Wooster because of Lowry wraps for dinner, and because my friends are here, and we sing, and because my dorm room is huge, and I love Wooster because of the sidewalks and trees."
"Wooster was not my first choice, but I’m glad I am here. I have already been challenged in ways I would have only dreamed of in high school. Of course, that is part of the college experience, but there is just something unique about Wooster."

"I love Wooster in the fall, the brightly colored leaves and the light breeze when we’re practicing on the field. I’ve found all of my best friends at Wooster freshman year—friendships that will surely extend beyond graduation. And although IS seems like such a big project, I am actually having fun doing it. I like researching my topic—one that I’m genuinely interested in."
