Towson is the type of school that, if you find the right people, you will have a wonderful experience. For those who have trouble making friends, it is highly recommended to get involved on campus. There are many organizations and sports teams that thrive in Towson and are strongly recommended in order to assist students in finding a solid group of friends. Some students love Towson so much that they just cannot pinpoint exactly what it is that they love so much. Perhaps it is the attentive faculty at Towson, or the nightlife that has so much to offer. Maybe they just enjoy the small, comfortable campus setting that allows them to pass by familiar faces everyday.
Towson is a school that becomes what you make of it. It is clear that the students who are engaged in their work or are interested in an organization gain a greater sense of appreciation for Towson. "My overall experience at Towson has been wonderful. I have met numerous people from different states, who have all taught me different aspects that add to my daily life. I have more communication tools open, and my education seems good, too."

"Towson is the best thing to ever happen to me. I have become increasingly involved on campus in organizations such as the SGA, which has enhanced my experience. I hope to one day write for the Towerlight (Towson’s paper), which would be a great honor. Overall, Towson has built my confidence and has made me a much more productive person."
